The Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest in collaboration with the North Aegean Region will once again present the richness of Lesvos' fauna and its potential to host birdwatching activities by participating in the Global Birdfair 2024.
The exhibition lasts three days (July 12-14) and is surrounded by presentations of experts and environmental organizations, discussions and other events.
The Participation of Lesvos
Lesvos, which is characterized as one of the most famous destinations in Europe for birdwatching, will participate for the third time in this celebration. The participation was prepared by the Museum of Natural History of the Lesvos Petrified Forest, in order to promote the natural wealth of Lesvos, which has been recognized as a UNESCO global Geopark, and to attract the interest of observers and tourist offices specializing in birdwatching on Lesvos island.
